Starry Starry Night
The other night I walked onto my balcony and looked up at the sky. Then I realised it had been ages since I had last looked at the stars. That made me sad.

When books replace sleep
I seem to keep forgetting that the longer I stay awake to read, the less sleep I get. Which results in scratchy eyes and a sleepy head. Sigh.
Almost Famous
My "artwork" was featured on High Art/Low Life. Thanks Mike :)
(please note: i use the term artwork with my tongue placed firmly in my cheek)
Autumn mornings
It's started to get chilly in the mornings. I have to wear a cardigan. I'm not sure how I feel about the prospects of winter. I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy it though. I like the idea of spending weekends under duvets reading books. And I love the smell of rain. So it's decided then: Autumn, I welcome you and your cardigan-inducing ways with open arms.
Monday Monday.
Just met advertising/blogging legend Wendy Moorcroft. Couldn't think of a better way to start my morning. I have a feeling there is a happy week ahead.

Let's be mature about this...
Or rather, let's be naive. I'm pretty sure that's my approach to relationships. If I like you, I'll say so, and if you don't appreciate it then you probably don't deserve it anyway. I try to be brave. I try to take chances. I like to dive in and hope for the best. If it doesn't work out, well at least I tried. And at the end of the day, that's all I can do.

Grave Concerns.
I'm worried that this blog is starting to sound pretentious. Like an indie kid with a moustache. I'm not a big fan of pretentious. But I guess all I can do is say what I mean.

My new friend...
Yesterday I made friends with a kitten named George. George is very cute. He's uncomplicated. I can tell because he is black and white. He was cautious at first, as cats are, but then he decided I was ok. He was playful and made me smile. I don't think George takes himself very seriously, which is good. I hope we can play again soon.
It was like a freaky, freaky dream...
Bizarre things rarely happen to me, but today I watched some students make home-made porn on their balcony across the street. If that's not worth mentioning, I don't know what is.

The Book Author
The Cynic
I know a boy who doesn't like love. For convenience sake, let's call him The Cynic. The Cynic is of the general opinion that love is a sham, that all relationships end in failure and are therefore pointless. To me, that's like not buying flowers because you know that, eventually, they'll die. I think that one of the best ways to learn about yourself is by sharing your heart with others. I told this to The Cynic. He said he would think about it.

It's saturday night and I've decided to spend some quality time with my blog. I have a feeling we're going to become great friends! I'm still trying to figure out how this whole blogging thing works. I guess the trick is to write as if no one else will ever read it. Otherwise it's a censored blog, and no one likes censorship... well, other than dictators, I hear they quite enjoy it actually.
So blog, I'll tell you my secrets if you tell me yours?
